Over 1/1
For fractional odds over 1/1 (an underdog) we convert fractional odds to american by turning the fraction into a decimal and then multiplying by 100:
Moneyline = (fraction as a decimal) * 100
Example:
7/4 : (7/4) * 100 = 1.4 * 100 = +140
Under 1/1
For fractions beneath 1/1 (a favourite) we convert fractional odds to american by dividing -100 by the fractional odds as a decimal:
Moneyline = (-100)/(fraction as a decimal)
Example:
¾ : (-100)/(¾) = (-100)/(.75) = -133
