Hi, I’m Eric, the co-founder of BetSmart – The Sports Betting Tool Authority. After working with various sports betting tools and other companies in the space, I began to bet on my own, and I knew I wanted to leverage some of the fantastic technology in the industry by taking a closer look under the hood. My goal is to help sports bettors understand that there are technologies available to give them an edge, as well as others to avoid.

Experience
Eric Pauly has been in the sports betting space for over half a decade. After graduating with a finance degree and picking up experience writing for well-known outlets like Binghamton University's Pipe Dream, FTN Fantasy, and Gambling Group, Eric Pauly decided to put his math knowledge and his writing skills to the test.
Eric worked as a sports betting writer, creating best bet articles and developing sports betting-related content for various sites. During this time, Eric began using various betting tools to make more winning picks and produce better content.
After five years of writing sports betting content, Eric decided to put the spotlight on the tools he was using rather than on the picks he was making. Eric started testing over 30 different sports betting tools and platforms, breaking them down by which were the easiest to use, which worked best, and which generated the most money for him while gambling.
Eric created BetSmart to shine a light on betting tools, helping other sports bettors find the right tools for their own needs and enabling people to start betting smarter.
