Locktopus Odds Review for October 2026

At this point, there is no secret the +EV tool field is a bit saturated. With AI coding tools, anyone can get an odds feed and begin devigging from the sportsbooks they want to. What the consumer needs now is unique features.

This is where Locktopus shines. It was built by former DraftKings employees who left because of how they treat their customers, limiting winners while pushing VIPs to keep depositing, and who then bet +EV on the side until they decided to build the tool they wanted as bettors. That origin shows. It makes EV betting digestible for someone who's never heard of it before without diminishing any value from the full feature suite.

I have been running Locktopus Odds on the Sharp plan for about three weeks, and the feature I kept going back to is Prop Outliers. Once my filters were set, it surfaced player props where one book sat far above the rest of the market over and over, and saved templates let me rerun the same NFL search against Kalshi and Pinnacle in one click. Around it sit a +EV feed, pre-game and live arbitrage, Auto SGP, DFS pick'em pricing, futures and a Data Golf integration, all across 30+ sportsbooks and prediction markets, and more.

It is a young product, rolled out to friends in the spring and launched publicly in August 2026, and it is priced well under the $200 a month suites. Sharp, at $99 a month, gets you every tool live with sub-second odds, which makes it one of the stronger values among full +EV suites, and Pro at $40 still covers the whole pre-game toolkit. You can start Locktopus Odds through our link on the free plan, and code BETSMART takes 50% off your first month on any paid tier. If you are still comparing options, our list of positive EV betting tools covers the rest of the field.

What Is Locktopus Odds?

Locktopus Odds is an odds comparison and +EV betting tool that scans 30+ sportsbooks and prediction markets for mispriced player props, positive expected value bets, arbitrage and correlated same game parlays, then shows you where to place each one. It is built for bettors who want sharp tools without a $200 monthly bill.

Locktopus Odds was founded by former DraftKings employees who set out to build a tool by bettors, for bettors, and it works in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no app yet. A free plan covers the odds screen, and paid plans run from $20 to $99 a month. It is an analytics service, not a sportsbook, so it never takes bets or holds your money.

How to Sign Up for Locktopus Odds

Signing up takes a couple of minutes, and the free plan lets you look around before you pay anything.

  1. Open the site: Go to Locktopus Odds through our link and click Get Started.

  2. Create your account: The free plan opens right away, with the odds screen, the vig remover, the odds converter and three Prop Outlier reveals a day.

  3. Pick a plan: Basic for odds comparison, Pro for the +EV, arbitrage and Prop Outlier tools, or Sharp for live tools and sub-second odds.

  4. Enter code BETSMART: Apply BETSMART when you subscribe for 50% off your first month.

  5. Set your books: Choose the sportsbooks you hold accounts at and save a template or two, so every tool only shows bets you can place.

That last step matters more than it sounds. A +EV bet at a book you do not have is just a number, and templates make it easy to filter every tool down to your own accounts.

Key Features for Locktopus Odds — October 2026

Locktopus Odds covers the core +EV toolkit, but a few pieces are built differently from the tools it competes with.

Prop Outliers

Prop Outliers ranks player props where one sportsbook is paying far more than the market average. Each row shows the outlier price, the average across books, the gap as a percentage, a suggested stake and a link straight to the bet, and expanding a row lays out every book's price. Prices from prediction markets come with the available liquidity, so when Novig showed a max of $7 on one line, I knew to move on. In the NFL template above, built against Kalshi and Pinnacle, a Jalon Daniels passing yards over sat at +1200 against a +685 market average.

You can compare against the market average or against sharp books only, filter by sport, minimum number of books and odds range, and factor in boosts. An outlier is not automatically +EV, since sometimes the outlier book is the one that is right, but as a way to find soft prices fast, it is one of the cleanest versions of this I have used.

Positive EV, Pre-Game and Live

The +EV feed ranks bets by edge against a fair price built from the books you choose. You can start from presets such as vs. Exchanges or build your own comparison set. Each row shows the best book, the sharp price, the fair odds, the edge and a suggested stake. In the shot above, DK Metcalf over 44.5 receiving yards at -109 on DraftKings priced to a fair -136, a 10.6% edge. When the fair price rests on a single book, Locktopus Odds flags it with a warning icon, which tells you how much weight to put on the number. Sharp subscribers also get a live version of the feed.

Saved Templates

Templates tie the toolkit together. A template saves the markets, the books you bet at, the books that set the fair price, and filters for odds, edge and timing, and you can apply it across Prop Outliers and the +EV feed. Featured templates cover setups like NFL anytime touchdowns against exchanges and MLB home runs against Kalshi and Pinnacle. Arbitrage and odds screen templates are listed as coming soon.

Arbitrage, Pre-Game and Live

The arbitrage finder lists both sides of a market at two books with the ROI, the stake for each leg, the profit and the max limits, plus a link to each leg. Pre-game arbitrage is on Pro and live arbitrage is on Sharp. When I ran live arb during games, it was very good and updated fast enough to act on, though the team says most of its development is going into pre-game +EV. The pre-game board above shows college football first quarter moneylines paying up to 11.11% ROI.

Auto SGP With Correlated Pricing

Auto SGP builds same game parlays to your rules: book, boost, sport, games, markets, odds range and number of legs, optimized for EV or for mispriced odds. Each parlay shows the book's price next to Locktopus Odds' correlated fair price and the uncorrelated fair price, so you can see how much the correlation is worth. On a thin slate, most of what it built was negative EV, which is normal for same game parlays, but it showed the math instead of hiding it, and that is what makes it useful when a boost tips one positive. Our guide to same game parlays explains why correlation matters.

Fan Favorites, Odds Screen and Futures

Fan Favorites puts popular props such as anytime touchdown scorers, home runs, strikeouts and goal scorers on one board, with every book's price and the best one highlighted. The odds screen covers every game line and prop on the free plan, and futures lines up championship, award and win total odds across books, which not many tools offer. The homepage heatmap shows which book has posted the best price most often in each market, a quick read on where to shop.

DFS, Data Golf and My Bets

DFS, still in beta, prices PrizePicks, Underdog and Betr Picks lines against sportsbook odds to show each pick's chance of hitting. Data Golf, also in beta, ranks golf bets by edge against Data Golf's model, a partnership few tools have. My Bets logs your bets and shows the closing line value on each one, so you can see whether your edge is real.

Locktopus Odds Pricing and Plans

Locktopus Odds has a free plan and three paid tiers, and annual billing works out to three months free.

  • Free ($0): the odds screen across every book, three Prop Outlier reveals a day, the vig remover and the odds converter.

  • Basic ($20/month or $180/year): 30+ books including prediction markets, the odds screen, Fan Favorites, futures, the promos feed and Discord access.

  • Pro ($40/month or $360/year): adds Positive EV, arbitrage, Prop Outliers, Data Golf, DFS pick'em, Auto SGP, line movement and CLV tracking, and priority support.

  • Sharp ($99/month or $890/year): real-time odds with updates in under a second, every Pro tool live, custom book weightings and presets, Sharp Money when it launches, and one-on-one text support.

Code BETSMART takes 50% off your first month on any paid tier, monthly or annual, which makes Pro $20 and Sharp $49.50 to start. The real decision is Pro or Sharp, and Sharp is where the value is. For $99 a month you get every tool live, sub-second odds, custom book weightings and direct text support, a full suite that runs $200 a month and up elsewhere, which makes it one of the stronger deals among +EV feature suites. If $99 is more than you want to spend, Pro at $40 still covers the full pre-game toolkit, and it costs a fraction of the $199.99 a month OddsJam charges. Our roundup of the best sports betting tools shows where it sits on price.

Locktopus Odds Promo Code & Free Trial

Use code BETSMART for 50% off your first month of any Locktopus Odds plan. Basic drops to $10, Pro to $20 and Sharp to $49.50 for the first month, then the standard price applies. The code works on annual plans too.

Locktopus Odds does not offer a free trial on its paid plans, but the free plan stays open with no expiry, so you can use the odds screen and three Prop Outlier reveals a day before paying. Start Locktopus Odds through our link, run the free tools through a full slate, and apply BETSMART when you subscribe.

Why Locktopus Odds Stands Out

Locktopus Odds is not chasing the longest book list. It is built to show you bets you can actually get down.

Built Around Bets You Can Place

The founders worked inside DraftKings and left because they did not like what they saw: winners limited, and VIPs worked for every dollar they would deposit. They bet with math on their own, got limited themselves, and built the tool they wished existed, by bettors and for bettors. The product shows it. Instead of surfacing every niche market, where long-tail edges look great and get accounts limited fast, it leans toward markets with real limits. Liquidity sits next to prediction market prices and max limits show on arbitrage legs. A huge book list matters less if you cannot bet at half of them.

Clean Screens at a Lower Price

The screens are simple: one feed, a handful of filters and a link to the bet on every row. Sharp at $99 a month puts every tool live with sub-second odds, and Pro at $40 covers Prop Outliers, +EV, pre-game arbitrage, Auto SGP and DFS pricing. Either way, it is a toolkit that costs several times as much elsewhere.

Prop Outliers and Correlated Parlay Pricing

Two features set it apart from the tools I use most. Prop Outliers turns line shopping into a ranked list, so the soft prices find you instead of the other way around. Auto SGP prices parlays with correlated fair odds next to the book's price, which most +EV tools skip entirely, and it is honest about the result even when the parlay is negative EV.

A Team That Acts on Feedback

When I told the team the odds screen should show more than one market at a time, they started building it. They also took on the idea of pricing a full DFS pick'em slip the way Auto SGP prices a parlay. A small team that moves this fast on feedback is a good sign for a tool that launched in August.

Asset A

Where Locktopus Odds Can Improve

The odds screen shows one market at a time. To compare strikeouts and then hits, you switch views rather than stacking them, which slows down prop shopping compared to other odds screens, where you can line up as many markets as you want. The team is building a multi-market view after I raised it, so this may not last long.

Live tools and sub-second odds sit on the $99 Sharp plan. Pro covers the full pre-game toolkit but is not real time, so in-game bettors and arb chasers effectively need Sharp. On the toolkit pages, odds update with a refresh button rather than continuously. The team chose that because constant refreshing made it hard to place a bet before the row moved, and the odds screen and Fan Favorites do refresh on their own, but it takes some getting used to.

It is also a young product. There is no mobile app yet, the AI chatbot is still in development, Sharp Money is still listed as coming soon, and several tools, including DFS, Auto SGP and Data Golf, carry beta labels. Coverage of 30+ books is solid for US bettors, though some competitors track more.

Recommended Platforms to Use Locktopus Odds

Locktopus Odds is built around betting where your limits hold up, and prediction markets fit that well. They earn by matching both sides rather than beating you, so they are far less likely to restrict an account that wins.

  • ProphetX: A CFTC-regulated prediction market where you trade sports contracts peer to peer, so winning traders are not limited the way they are at a sportsbook. Sign up through our link and code BETSMART applies automatically. BetSmart earns a commission if you open an account. Read our ProphetX overview.

  • Novig: A peer-to-peer prediction market that shows up across Locktopus Odds' boards with its liquidity listed beside the price, so you know how much you can trade before you open the app. Read our Novig review.

  • Kalshi: A regulated prediction market with a growing sports slate, and one of the books featured templates use to set the fair price. Read our Kalshi overview.

Holding accounts on two or three of these alongside your sportsbooks means more of what Locktopus Odds surfaces is something you can actually take.

Is Locktopus Odds Legit?

Yes, Locktopus Odds is a legitimate odds comparison and +EV betting tool run by a team I was glad to meet. It is an analytics service, not a sportsbook: it does not take bets or hold your money, and every bet you place happens in your own sportsbook account. Plans bill monthly or annually and you can cancel anytime, and the free plan lets you see the product before paying.

The founders came from inside DraftKings and talk openly about why they left, and I spoke with the team directly while testing. The fair caveat is age. Locktopus Odds launched publicly in August 2026, so its track record is shorter than OddsJam's or Unabated's.

Is Locktopus Odds Worth It?

For intermediate and advanced bettors, yes. Sharp at $99 a month is the plan I would point most serious bettors to: every tool live, sub-second odds and live arbitrage that updated fast enough to act on in my testing, at about half what the bigger suites charge. That makes it one of the stronger overall deals among +EV feature suites. If $99 is more than you want to spend, Pro at $40 still covers Prop Outliers, the +EV feed, pre-game arbitrage and Auto SGP, and Prop Outliers alone turned up more mispriced props in my three weeks than I could bet.

It is a weaker fit for true beginners who have not yet learned what a fair price is, and for bettors who need a mobile app or a multi-market odds screen today. If that is you, start with our lesson on expected value. Otherwise, start on the Locktopus Odds free plan and use code BETSMART for 50% off your first month when you move up.

Final Thoughts

Locktopus Odds is a young tool that already does the important things well. It finds mispriced props quickly, prices +EV and arbitrage against the books you choose, and keeps everything clean enough to act on. The single-market odds screen and Sharp-only live tools are the tradeoffs. Sharp at $99 is one of the stronger deals among full +EV suites, and Pro at $40 is a solid budget pick. If you want a sharp toolkit at a fraction of the usual price, try Locktopus Odds and take 50% off your first month with code BETSMART.

Alternatives to Locktopus Odds

If Locktopus Odds is not the right fit, these are the tools I would compare it with.

  • OddsJam: The broader, more established suite, with +EV, arbitrage, line shopping and live odds across a wide US book list for $199.99 a month. Pick it if you want maximum coverage and do not mind the price.

  • Betstamp Pro: The stronger props odds screen, where you can stack as many markets as you want, alongside +EV tools, at $249 a month.

  • Prop Professor: A budget option for props and DFS, with +EV, real-time odds, arbitrage and a fantasy suite for $49 a month.
