PropsMadness Review — July 2026

PropsMadness started as the tool you opened when you wanted to read a player prop visually instead of squinting at a stat table. The July 2026 update moves it into different territory. When the PropsMadness team walked me through the new build, the theme was depth: curated advanced stats for every prop type, pitch-level matchup grading in MLB, park and weather data through a Ballpark Pal partnership, and WNBA tracking data that, as far as I can tell, no other prop tool offers. It now covers MLB, NBA, WNBA, and the World Cup.

That shift changes who this tool is for. The visual research that made it approachable is still the backbone, but the filter depth now rewards bettors who know what they are looking for. PropsMadness is priced at $20 per month or $200 per year, and BetSmart readers get 25% off their first purchase with code BETSMART through the PropsMadness site. This review covers what the update actually adds, where the tool now stands against other player prop tools, and where it still has room to grow.

What Is PropsMadness?

PropsMadness is a player prop research tool that turns hit rates, advanced stats, matchup grades, and real-time odds from 40+ sportsbooks into visual, filterable charts for MLB, NBA, WNBA, and World Cup betting. It is built for intermediate and advanced bettors who want to research props against real context instead of raw stat lines.

The platform runs on the web and as a mobile app at $20 per month, with each prop type showing intentionally curated metrics rather than one generic stat dump.

How to Sign Up at PropsMadness

Getting started with PropsMadness is simple:

  1. Visit PropsMadness

  2. Choose your plan (monthly or annual)

  3. Enter promo code BETSMART at checkout for 25% off your first purchase

  4. Start researching player props across NBA, NFL, MLB, and WNBA

Key Features for PropsMadness — July 2026

Curated Stats for Every Prop Type

The design decision that shapes the whole platform: different props show different stats, chosen on purpose. Pull up a strikeout prop and you get pitch counts, K rate, and matchup context. Pull up a home run prop and you get park factors and batted-ball context. Nothing is a generic template, which means less time filtering out noise before you can form a read. It is the same philosophy that makes hit rate research useful: the right sample beats a bigger sample.

Pitch-Level Matchup Grading in MLB

The MLB build now grades matchups by pitch type. It looks at what a pitcher actually throws, how each batter performs against that pitch mix, and grades the matchup batter by batter. The expected opposing lineup board, shown in the screenshot above, stacks K%, CHASE%, BB%, WHIFF%, CONT%, ZONE%, CSW%, and SWSTR% for every projected hitter, color graded green and red, with hand splits and last 10, 20, or 30 game windows. When I ran a Phillies slate through it, reading a strikeout prop against the actual bats due up felt closer to how a sharp models the spot than how most prop tools summarize it.

Filters That Rebuild the Game Environment

The filter system is where the update earns the intermediate and advanced label. You can isolate how a hitter performs against pitchers above a given ERA percentile, filter by weather kind, park, closing line range, and left or right handed splits for both pitchers and hitters, with separate L10 and L6 rankings. The goal is to recreate conditions similar to tonight and see what the player and the closing line did in those spots. A player who looks cold might have faced a run of elite arms in pitcher parks, and the filters surface that in seconds.

Park and Weather Data via Ballpark Pal

PropsMadness partnered with Ballpark Pal to bring park and weather data into the platform. Every MLB game shows a conditions readout, like the 97 degree Citizens Bank Park example in the screenshot with home runs boosted 30% and runs 14%, graded hitter or pitcher friendly. There is also a new parks filter that splits home run hit rates on good weather days versus bad ones, so you can see how much of a power profile is real and how much is conditions.

Closing Lines and Honest EV Context

Every prop chart plots the closing line alongside the line you are looking at, so you can see how a player has performed against the number that mattered, not just the opener. Odds are translated into implied percentages, colored green when the hit rate clears what the odds imply and red when it does not. That transparency cuts both ways, showing the spots where a player has come up short of the number as plainly as the ones where they beat it. You are looking at how a line actually performed, not a cherry-picked highlight.

World Cup and WNBA Coverage

The World Cup build brings the full treatment to soccer props: hit rates against the posted line, teammate on and off differentials, FIFA and ELO opponent rankings, expected lineups, and win probability, as the Mbappe goals screen above shows. The WNBA additions go deeper. PropsMadness brought on a dedicated tracker for potential assists, data no other tool surfaces for the WNBA, filterable for every game. It joins expected minutes projections with ranges and blowout risk, play type and shot formation data, assist and shot maps, and defense versus position rankings. For a league where reliable prop data is thin, this is the strongest data set I have seen, and Focus Mode keeps all of it readable on smaller screens.

Instead of a trial, PropsMadness gives you up to five free players per day, so you can pull real prop data and test the visuals before paying. Between the daily free players, the refund window, and the BETSMART code, there is a low-risk way to try it. Get started with PropsMadness.

Why PropsMadness Stands Out

Transparency Built Into the Data

Most prop tools ask you to trust their numbers. PropsMadness plots the closing line on every chart even when it does not flatter a spot, and colors implied probability against the actual hit rate so a soft edge reads as soft. Nothing gets dressed up. The framing from the team is that the platform sells data and visualization, not plays, so the information has to stand on its own. That posture is why PropsMadness reads as a research tool rather than a picks pitch.

Depth Without Losing the Visual Layer

Plenty of tools have advanced stats, and plenty have clean charts. PropsMadness now does both: percentile filters, pitch-level grading, and environment rebuilding sit on top of the same scannable graphs that made it easy to use in the first place. You can work an entire slate quickly, then go three filters deep on the two spots worth the time.

Education & Community

PropsMadness's website offers educational resources so users can learn how to maximize the tool. It also has an active Discord community where serious bettors share insights on player props.

Market Width

PropsMadness is a one-stop shop for player prop betting across NBA, NFL, MLB, and WNBA. Not only does it feature amazing visuals and data, but it also enables users to find the best prices in the market across a wide array of sportsbooks. The best part? The odds are real-time, meaning you'll never miss an edge with the tool.

Where PropsMadness Can Improve

The update fixes the old depth complaint, but a few gaps remain. The biggest is discovery: there is no Explore page yet, so the tool shows you everything about a prop you bring to it but does not surface strong plays on its own. The team says one is in development, and it would meaningfully shorten the workflow once it ships.

The new filter depth also cuts both ways. Rebuilding game environments with percentile and closing line filters rewards bettors who know what they are testing, and casual bettors may find the learning curve steep before the tool clicks. Finally, PropsMadness remains props only. There are no game lines, no alternate markets beyond props, and no automated alerts when a number moves, so bettors who want one tool for their whole card will still need something alongside it, like the broader screens covered in our best betting tools roundup.

What's New at PropsMadness (July 2026)

The July 2026 update is the platform's move upmarket: park and weather data through a new Ballpark Pal partnership, pitch-mix matchup grading for MLB with an advanced expected-lineup board, World Cup coverage with teammate impact and FIFA and ELO rankings, and a WNBA data push that includes potential assists tracking, expected minutes projections with blowout risk, and play type data. An Explore page that surfaces strong plays automatically is in development. The BETSMART code still takes 25% off your first purchase.

Recommended Sportsbooks for PropsMadness

As its name suggests. PropsMadness focuses on player prop betting, so anyone using the tool needs sportsbooks that offer props. PropsMadness has integrations with recreational sportsbooks and exchanges across NBA, NFL, MLB, and WNBA, allowing you to line shop and bet the best available odds as quickly as possible. When testing PropsMadness, I made sure to have these sportsbooks at my disposal.

  • FanDuel: Often offers the best prices, and PropsMadness integrates with FanDuel, allowing you to line-shop their prop offerings in the NBA, WNBA, and NFL.

  • BetMGM: A softer sportsbook, BetMGM is integrated with PropsMadness, and users can often get the best prices in the market from MGM, but need to avoid limits.

  • Novig: A peer-to-peer betting exchange, Novig often has the best lines available and will never limit winning bettors. Read our Novig review.

Is PropsMadness Legit?

Yes, PropsMadness is a legitimate player prop research tool, not a picks service selling locks. It sells data and visualization, and it is upfront that the edge comes from your own research, not secret plays.

A few signals back that up. Pricing is transparent at $20/month or $200/year, billed as a standard subscription you can cancel, and the 7-day refund policy is stated openly. The tool runs an active Discord community where users discuss props in real time, which is hard to fake at scale. When testing it, the odds pulled from 40+ sportsbooks matched what those books were actually posting. The usual caveat applies: PropsMadness gives you better information, but it does not place winning bets for you.

Is PropsMadness Worth It?

If player props are a serious part of your betting and you consider yourself an intermediate or advanced bettor, PropsMadness is worth the $20 per month. The July 2026 update added the depth that used to be the main knock: pitch-level matchup grading, park and weather context, closing line transparency, and WNBA data nobody else has. Between the curated stats and the filters, it now competes on research quality, not just visuals.

If you are brand new to props, the depth may be more than you need until your process matures, and pure beginners may get more from a simpler hit-rate tool first. And if you want projections handed to you for every stat, this is not that; PropsMadness gives you the context to form your own number. With the 25% first-purchase discount using code BETSMART at PropsMadness, the effective first month lands at $15, which is a fair test of whether the workflow fits yours.

Final Thoughts

PropsMadness still does what a good niche betting tool should do: improve one part of the workflow materially. If props are central to your process, it remains a sensible tool to keep in the mix.

Alternatives to PropsMadness

PropsMadness is not the only player prop tool worth a look. If the visual-first workflow does not fit how you research, a few alternatives cover similar ground.

Props.Cash leans on historical hit rates and trend data across a wide market list, so it suits bettors who want to sort props by how often a line has cashed. Our Props.Cash review (see our head to head comparison) has the full breakdown.

Outlier pairs prop research with a +EV and middling angle, making it a better fit if you also bet sides and totals and want one broader tool. Our Outlier review covers where it lands.

PlayerProps.ai adds model-driven projections, the one thing PropsMadness leaves out. If you want a projected number to bet against, PlayerProps.ai is worth testing. For a wider view of the category, our best betting tools hub ranks these side by side.
