Earlier this month the site was down. When I checked on September 6, the domain returned no DNS record from three separate resolvers, and registrar records showed it on hold. By September 24 the hold was gone and the site resolved again. It now works as a login page for current subscribers, not a place to buy a plan. Even the old /pricing link now forwards straight to that login notice.
The company behind it is doing fine. ShotQuality sells the same computer vision feed to sportsbooks, trading syndicates, and prediction markets, and that is where its growth has gone. ShotQuality Bets is a basketball-only analytics subscription that uses computer vision to grade the quality of every shot in NBA, WNBA, and college games, then compares those numbers against sportsbook lines to find edges. As of September 2026 it is closed to new members, and parent company ShotQuality now licenses the same data to sportsbooks and prediction markets.
The underlying model turns broadcast video into shot location and possession data, trained on more than 50 million data points. College hoops was the deepest part of the product, and ScoreCenter carried live regression data while games were running. Premier opened that up for every NCAAM game while Standard limited you to select matchups, and it was the clearest example of the gap between the two tiers.

Why ShotQuality Bets Stood Out
ShotQuality Bets was a narrow platform for basketball bettors who wanted to know why a number moved, not just that it did. The data did its best work feeding something else: a prop model, a game line model, or a repeatable way of judging whether a team's recent results were real. It never handed you bets, and it never pretended to.
Great for Modelers and Data-Driven Bettors
The shot-level grading was the piece you could not get anywhere else. I used it mostly as a check against my own numbers, and the times it earned its keep were when it disagreed with me about a team coming off a loud win or an ugly shooting week. Paired with the exports and the custom model builder, you could test those disagreements instead of guessing at them. It sat much closer to betting tools with projections than to a pick service.
Singular Focus, Smarter Data
By zeroing in on basketball alone, ShotQuality could go deeper across the NBA, WNBA, and NCAAB than a platform splitting attention across six sports. The two sets of NBA write-ups, one opinionated and one strictly data-focused, sat alongside a member Discord with live bets and subscriber-only content. That was a real strength. The footer still links to the Discord, but with memberships closed, the subscriber-only channels are out of reach unless you were already paying. No Way to Sign Up
This drawback outranks everything else right now. The site loads, but it has no checkout, no pricing page, and only one line on the login screen explaining why. There is no timeline, no word on whether retail memberships will come back, and nothing telling current members what happens at renewal. High Price for What It Did
Premier at $249.99 a month was a serious commitment, and even Standard at $49.99 priced out plenty of bettors who touched hoops a few nights a week. The argument was that the data existed nowhere else, which was true, but you needed real volume for that to pencil out.
Never a Full Betting Workstation
It was a basketball data platform, not a place to actually work a slate. No line shopping for game lines or props, no multi-book EV scanner, no mobile app, and nothing for bettors outside hoops. Judged on what it was, the old verdict holds up. It was worth it if you already had a process the data could plug into, and hard to justify if it was going to sit in an open browser tab. Shot-level grading on every NBA, WNBA, and NCAAM possession was a genuine input, and the Premier CSV exports were what made it usable inside your own model. At $49.99 a month, Standard still asked a lot for a tool that would not tell you where to bet once you had an opinion. If you are an existing Premier member, export the data you rely on, because the company has not said how long member access will last.
